Non-Contact Infrared
Forehead Thermometer
Instantly measure and identify abnormal body temperatures from a safe distance, without the risk of cross infection or the need for sterilising or disposable covers between measurements.
About
HeatCheck thermometers use Infrared technology to measure body temperature from a distance of up to 5cm with an accuracy of ± 0.2ºC. HeatCheck’s simple and intuitive user interface incorporates visual and audible notifications to indicate when a person's temperature is high or feverish.
HeatCheck thermometers are also equipped with an Object temperature mode that can be used to measure the surface temperature of items such as hot milk and to measure ambient room temperature.

FAQ
Can I take measurements from other parts of my body?
Whilst the simple answer is yes, in body temperature mode the thermometer will take a temperature from any part of your skin, it’s important to note that our thermometer has been specifically calibrated to take readings from your forehead and therefore to get the most accurate results we recommend that readings are taken from there.
How far do I need to be for it to work?
In Forehead Mode, the thermometer has an active working range of between 1 – 5cm, if you’re not sure how far that is try to think of a two fingers width distance away from the skin. In Object Temperature Mode measurements can be taken from a surface at a greater distance, but the closer you are to the object the more accurate the reading will be.
Do I need to charge this?
No you do not need to charge the device, its low power consumption and automatic inactivity shutdown feature means that it only requires two AAA batteries to operate for up to 6 months and the best bit is that these are included in the box so you’re ready to go.
How do I know what is normal and what is considered a high temperature?
A normal body temperature range is between 36.0 and 37.5. A temperature over 37.5 would be considered high, with temperature over 38.5 considered very high and symptomatic of a fever. But don’t worry about having to memorise these, our thermometers are equipped with a high temperature alert to warn you when a high temperature is recorded.
